I am also using Lippincott, i have finished the 8th edition and still planning to read the 9th edition for alternate question types and new version of the type of question. I have acquired a lot of facts in lippincott that i haven't read in any other book. The rationales are detailed than kaplan and gives a broader exlanation of the topic or questions asked. I also find some questions harder in lippincott.

I suggest that you keep and use the book. The book has a lot of questions that you can practice on. You can also use other materials in which you are comfortable but try to limit the resources to atleast 2 books only, as they suggest, to avoid confusion and comparison.
I have read Saunder's, Lippincott, Nclex made incredibly easy, Kaplan and Mosby. I have also answered all the questions in the book but now that I will take the exam in a month, I try to focused more on Saunder's and Kaplan Question Trainer. My scores increased because of practicing a lot of questions. Nclex passers says to do a lot of practice questions so that book will really help you.

hello
i used lippincott 2005 and the kaplan strategies book 2008-09..
although the former has some typos in it, it's a pretty good book to review.. some in it i have not even heard in nursing school.
kaplan helped me a lot too.
btw i just passed this june, so i hope it'll help you too.
God bless on your exam.

Have you found the Lippincott 3500 question website, I really like it? I found the link here at allnurses.com. I am web link challenged or I would have tired to include the link in my reply. It would be worth the search.
