So here is the thing. you will PASS and see your grandma over seas! I am certain! here is what youre going to do...on a piece of paper write down your name, RN.

PUT IT UP on the wallw here you study. in small letters....where you can look up and have a tiny reminder of what your end goal is.

for hurst...i listened to each lecture (online free if you type in hurst mp3 4shared) twice and i took notes. for KAPLAN it took me 60% of the QBANK to figure out how kaplan wanted me to looka t questions. for LACHARITY, i circled all the ansdwers FIRST and then i read the question and answer and tried to see what my rationale was and then matched it to th eback of the book...but here is what I tell people:

1. Get the used version of the kaplan content book its 2-3 $$ on amazon.com = READ IT itll take you 1 full week to go through it. write down notes of stuff you will forget and or dont know.

2. the hurst review its actually ONLINE for free just type in hurst mp3 and you will find links. LISTEN to those.

3. if you purchased kaplan complete the question trainers aim for 56+ even though kaplan says 60+, i have known people who have gotten below 60 and aced it. IF you cannot afford the kaplan q, trainers, that too is online you just have to google it kaplan question trainers pdf and manually take the test (pen and paper)

4. Get the 21 day NCSBN - NOW...this webstie has questions, I DID NOT recommend my friend do the questions but just become familiarized with the content. and it should take you less than 21 days to complete if you just go through a few sections a day. theyre decent reads. AGAIN, what you dont remember PRINT IT or copy paste it.

5. if you have time fr your NCSBN take questions

and last but not least

6 = REVIEW YOUR NOTES YOU MADE DURING KAPLAN + NCSBN + questions you may have gotten wrong. IF you did poorly on a q. trainer, RE-DO the q. trainer.

dont be frustrated, i knwo its easier said then done but once you have a PLAN you should be set to go and visit G.MA! and you can tell her I SAID HELLO :)

I really like to used exam cram with kaplan. I felt as though the combo of both really had me prepared for different styles of questions whether it be more critical thinking or content based. Good luck! You got this!
