I think you put yourself through more stress if you find out. What if you figure out through the "trick" that you didn't pass? I don't think it would make you all that less relieved. So it seems a little disheartening especially if you failed and there's always that 50% chance that you did and I would rather not find that out days or weeks before I need to.

I cannot even believe this.............................................. ..
Is this person serious. I don't know about this person but I struggled through school with
small children, not enough money, too many bills, only my husband working because the
clinical schedule was too intense to even keep a job ( 12 hour days) and when I took
this test I was physically ill thinking I would possibly be set back......this person obviously has not
read the posts about how most people feel after taking it.........not a big deal to wait.....this
is your life and something you truly worked hard for you want to know if you passed....trust me!
If not, it obviously does not mean that much to you!

Can someone please let me know what the window actually tells you when you pass? When I try to re-register, it just tells me that I have "recently scheduled the test and cannot register for the test at this time." Lame! Why can't California have the 48results like normal states...

This is what it said for me,

:"Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your Member Board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time"

It was a pop up box that came on the screen when I was trying to register and see if I could get to the CC screen.

So, going by the rule of the "Trick", This means a PASS for you. congrats!

You have to wait till it says delivery successful...that can be minutes to days after you take the test. It has nothing to do with you passing or failing so don't worry if you do not see it right away. After it says delivery successful and you try to register then if you still have the pop-up that says something like " contact your board of nursing" at the end of it...you are good. It has to say delivery successful though.....not ready for delivery. I hope this helps. Just keep checking for it to say that....it may have something to do with the holiday. Hang in there...I understand how you feel.

Default Re: Pearsonvue trick...BRN Post California
I just took the NCLEX-RN July2 in San Francisco. I tried the PearsonVue trick and it would not let me register. Then I called them and asked about it. I told them there is an Internet rumor and could it be true. He asked his supervisor and the answer was, "Don't rely on that. There is no truth to that rumor." But of course, they do not want to admit there is a glitch like this. I think they really don't know and haven't ever figured this out. I also tried the BRN website, and I do not come up as an RN, but it has only been 1 business day. So I will keep trying. I also drove to Sacramento yesterday, and actually handed in my re-application to take the NCLEX, and was hoping that maybe they would not accept it if I passed. They did not look me up or anything on their computer, and discouraged me from re-submitting the application. They said that 8 times out of 10 when someone thinks they failed, they passed. But if you do pass, and have re-applied and paid the $75 fee, they will refund the fee. I thought why should I wait 4 weeks for results and re-submit then. I need a job now!!! It makes me soooo angry that the computer knows immediately whether we passed or failed, and yet we are tortured with this waiting period. It is ridiculous that CA is not part of the Quick Results system. I did not know that until I finished the test, and mentioned to the person at the test center, that now I would check. She said, CA doesn't participate, and I just went into shock. Unbelievable!!! Also, SilverDragon102, you are wrong about saying that we need a SSN on the BRN website. Only name, city, county are needed, and only parts of that even. It will search for "any or all" parts of that information. Just FYI. Thanks to all who suggested looking at the BRN website - wish the 3 days would go by faster. I am s00000 distressed!!!

Ya know, I am not sure if I looked right away at the "delivery successful" part when I first checked mine. I was just thrilled to have not gotten to the CC screen. Then later, when I was really paying attention, it did say 'Delivery Successful' after I logged in to my account. I am not sure if it said that right away or not. Does that just mean that your results were successfully 'delivered' to your state?
