I'm wondering if it would work immediately. I took the exam yesterday and came out in tears. I'm just looking for any shred of hope that I might have passed. I tried the trick today and Pearson Vue would not let me register again. Dont know if that actually means anything, but I'm really hoping.

What do u mean would not let you register? How did you do it? Did you go all the way to payment and confirm the payment? What did it say that you can register? Did u put your credit card number? So is that mean you passed then?

I just went to the Pearson Vue website and tried to register to take the exam just like I did the first time. It goes through the little questionairre about if I've taken the exam before, lets me put in my school information and then it doesn't let me go any further. I get a message that says their records indicate I have recently scheduled this exam. I need to contact the Board for further assistance and that I cannot reschedule at this time. It never even let me get to a payment screen. It could just be that's it's too soon for me to register again. Who knows.

Just took my test yesterday and don't know if this actually means anything. But it's enough to keep me hopeful.

Well i tried the trick 3 weeks after.. and it lets me go to payment method.
If i tried it after my exam it will probably do me the same things..Its STUPID!!
And they base there result tru this trick..Call pearsonvue if this trick really works..
if this trick is true then what is the need for the Board to mail you the result and have you waited too many weeks..
They should tell us do this trick and you know if you pass or not...ITS STUPID!!

I'll probably be checking Pearson Vue everday until I get my results. Which exam did you take? It could also be different from one exam to the next. It could also mean nothing at all. We probably shouldn't read too much into it.

I took the NCLEX-PN test..last Feb11.
Im in CA and they dont participate
on the "quick result" ..so no way
trick from pearsonvue registering
can tell you if you pass or not..
Like i said maybe people should call
them and find out about this STUPID
trick..Thanks

I am sure this has been posted AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN here on Allnurses................the number of questions a tester is given has NOTHING to do with pass or fail. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't understand why this concept continues to be misunderstood year after year. Does your school not explain how the testing works!?!? The minimum number is 75..........that is the only thing that is true here---beyond that there is no way of knowing if you pass or fail till you get the results. I know it's hard to wait but really the focus I constantly see on the NUMBER of questions really is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT. You just have to wait.....It sucks I know but........... what are ya gonna do.
Good luck to you all and just try to think positive!!!

Come on, people!! Do you honestly think there's some "trick" to Pearsonvue?!?

You're getting yourselves into a tizzie for nothing. You can second guess the test, second guess yourselves, and drive yourselves crazy, but in the end nothing, and I mean NOTHING, matters but your results.
