  22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Do you guys know if the PVT status can change on weekends? Coz as what I mentioned in previous post, my mom took her board last Wednesday. Since that day her PVT says "The candidate has exam results that are hold." Someone told me that Pearson usually puts the result on hold from 48-72 hours. Today is her 3rd day after taking her test. Do you guys think it's because it's weekend today?

Weekends are irrelevant. It's a computerized system. Holds DO usually take somewhere between 24 and 72 hours....they can take longer. Two people in recent memory had to wait a week. Just how it is...I'm sorry, I know it's incredibly frustrating, but your mother can do NOTHING of value on this until she gets official results. The PVT is worthless to her at this point; more than likely she will be able to pay regardless of passing/failing status. She should avoid that game now.

I can't recall if you said whether Quick Results are available in your State...? If they are, do THAT after the hold is lifted. NOT the pvt. Otherwise....wait for the official results. Good luck!

UPDATE: PEARSON MAY HAVE CHANGED THE TRICK!!!!!

I have been reading everyone's post from the beginning and have fully believed in the message stating "our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time" So I took my NCLEX RN at 12:30 yesterday afternoon. It shut off at 75 and I felt iffy, bouncing between feeling like I was guessing on everything to thinking of some I got right. Yesterday night at 5:00 I decided to enter my credit card number and got the good pop up "our records indicate...another registration cannot be made at this time". I was beyond myself happy that I felt 100% sure I passed. I wanted to reassure myself so an hour later I entered all my info again, and this time did not get the message. My heart dropped, in fear that now I hadn't passed?!?! this all isn't making sense and I'm losing my mind. How could I get the 100% proof of passing message the first time and now I don't? please help. I'm not sure if maybe Pearson is catching on or that they changed it to only giving you that passing message once. I'm beside myself and praying I passed based on my first look. I wish I had never kept checking. Please, if you have an info on this chime in.

So did you pass? :)

I took my NCLEX 3/3, completed in 78 questions. I checked the last question I had and I answered it right. I was surfing the Internet this morning and decided to do the NCLEX VUE Trick. I entered everything as followed and got the CREDIT CARD SCREEN! I was so bummed. But then I decided to check the Board of Nursing for my State and on the Online Services "License Verification" It Stated I PASSED!!!! This is free as well, so no need to pay the "Quick Results" So don't trust everything you read on the Internet unless it comes from a credible source!

Good Luck to future test takers!

P.S. I Created an account just to add to this post! -_- ha!

It worked for me. I got the good pop up and found out that I passed 24 hours later.

Everyone goes to the credit card screen pass or fail since August 2014. Not all states participate in quick results. Mine does because post nclex it's 4-8 weeks for a license to be posted.

what books can you recommend? thanks

The PVT NCLEX trick is bogus!

Or at least is was for me. I took the test two days ago (4/13/2016) and it stopped after 75. I took this as a good sign, and tried using the trick after 4 hours, 12 hours, and 48 hours, and it let me put in my credit card info and gave me the option to submit every time. I was freaked and convinced I'd failed until today, when my name appeared on my BON website. I freaking passed. Even now, the trick lets me put in my cc info and then takes me to the submit screen. I was tricked by the trick!

Since August 2014 EVERYONE must submit payment info and risk paying for another registration. You didn't risk the funds by hitting submit so you had no chance at a pop up

How soon can you try this trick from when you took the exam?

How soon can you try this trick from when you took the exam?

Recommended wait 24 hours. Then check BoN to see if license is posted in some states. You will go to the credit card and must risk being charged to try the trick. Or you can wait 48 hours for accurate results if your state participates in quick results

Have you heard of anyone not getting to good pop up and still passing? i didnt get it. i got give valid expiration date and then got locked out of my account bc i tried so many times. IM FREAKING OUTTT!! i finished in 75questions and i dont think i had many sata?
