Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

If you have good pop up -you 100 %pass, and if it let you pay- sorry but it is fail most likely, it happened with me last time when i failed- it let me pay, now i got good pop up- i passed. Stay strong. God will help you

I just saw my name also on CaBon list. I took my nclex on monday, nov. 8. THAnk YOU Lord!!!

I took the NCLEX-PN on yesterday at 8 am. I was stunned by the questions:no:. There were meds that I had never heard of. With eight solid weeks of study, I feel that it still didn't do any good. My computer shut off at 85. When I got home, I remembered reading about the PVT previously- so I did it. I got the "good" pop up. I have checked repeatedly since yesterday and I am still getting the same pop up. One of my classmates took the test yesterday too. Her computer also shut off at 85 and she got the "good" pop up as well. Even though there are numerous stories about PVT working, there is still that little voice of doubt in the back of my head. I don't think I can cope with failure. I can't imagine having to sit for that test again. Waiting is agony :crying2:. I'm in GA so I can get quick results tomorrow. I'm just sitting here stressing & counting the minutes until I know for certain if I really passed. My family doesn't truly understand how stressful this is. Passing or failing this test determines when or if I can start my career as a nurse. I will be so happy if I can report on tomorrow that I am a nurse. Well, I guess it's back to watching the clock :grn:

UPDATE: So after an agonizing 48 hours...I am happy to report that the PVT WORKS. I PASSED!!!!!!!!!! FEELS SO GOOD TO BE A NURSE.:dancgrp: :nurse: Reading posts on here kept me sane (somewhat). For all who passed, congrats :yeah:. For those who didn't, keep studying hard. It will pay off in the end.:nurse:

congratulations tnwdaniels!

3 hours left for me before i start hitting refresh frantically on their website...lol this wait is anguishing...pearsonvue sent me a survey to ask how my testing experience went and i left some comments about how i think it's very unfair that they make us wait like this...they can't know how terrible it is. :(

Took nclex on Thursday morning. Only slept like 3 hours. Now it is Friday morning. Finally got the courage to check the trick. I was shaking in front of the computer. Got a good "pop-up". Waiting for the results. Bagging God for another miracle!!!

I passed I passed I passed

Did not even wait for a result. Went to the BON and did license verification. I AM THEREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE:clown:

Hi all~ I took the test yesterday at 2pm, answered 110 questions and when I got home "the good pop-up". I'm not sure where they find the NCLEX questions, they were all so very random. Should I worry? I'm in CA so no quick results~
