Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Congrats:):):):):)

hi, i actually took my exam last july 27th and went to 75 questions and my computer shut down. I tried the PV trick after 48 hours and i got a pop up that says "on hold" i was worried then after a week, i checked it again and i got the good pop up. What does that mean?? im really nervous right now. its been almost 3weeks and i know my letter will be here soon. May i know what does this mean? please please answer!! thanks! :)

I did this a few weeks ago and it did work for me...a friend of mine took the nclexrn this morning and i am trying to help him to try this too..but he forgot his log in info as well as his security questions..Does anyone know if this will still work if he has to re sign up for an account???

Hey everyone.. I just took the nclex-RN exam.. it was stressful to say the least... I ended with 85 questions... I did the Pearson Vue Trick and it brought me to the "good pop up" I was just wondering if everyone could post their experiences.. good and bad.. I will let you guys know in a couple days if it worked for me :)...

Oh my gosh! My nerves have never been this wracked my whole, entire life! Took the NCLEX-RN under the California board 08/12. I think I studied pretty extensively but I had to take all 265 questions. Felt like I was coming from Afghanistan when I left there. Now I can't sleep at night. Questions and answers keep floating in my mind and I've never been a failure my whole life so this NCLEX thing is hitting me hard.

Came across the PVT and tried it and got the 'good' pop up. Please does anyone know of anyone who got that pop up and failed?

Help!

Hi all,

I am new here but felt I should add my experience to the list.

I took the nclex-pn yesterday at 2pm. Walked out thinking 'maybe' I had passed. 85 q's, 2 math, 1 peds, a LOT of sata (yuck yuck, hate those).

Came home stumbled onto this thread, did the trick, got the good pop up.

As of noon today I am on the BON! Passed! So...it worked for me! Thanks to whoever figured this trick out because I slept like a baby last night after doing it :)

Good luck with your official results.

we're on the same boat....i'm going crazy too :uhoh3:

i live in california, took the NCLEX RN exam in san diego on 8/12. been getting the good pop up everyday..... WHY IS THE CALIFORNIA BRN taking so long to update their website:( i have been checking the license verifcation site religiously  i even called the BRN and they told me to wait 2-4 weeks in the mail. are you kidding me?! i will have a curling ulcer by that time :crying2::crying2::crying2::crying2:

its not fair that the CA BRN doesn't participate in quick results while other states get that option

did anyone else in california take the NCLEX RN exam on 8/12 and get their results back yet ????

"Came across the PVT and tried it and got the 'good' pop up. Please does anyone know of anyone who got that pop up and failed?"

i been reading this forum to pass the time away.... i know its a bad idea bc it's not being productive....

i read 2 posts reporting that they got the good pop up a few times and then they ended up with the CC page a few days later. i noticed those 2 people also had many grammatical and spelling errors which undermines their credibility. i'm assuming they didn't follow the specific instructions.

i hope it works for everyone.
