Pearsonvue taking longer than 48 hours to post result?

Anyone have ideas on why it is taking them longer than 48 hours to show the results are available? Phone calls have only warranted a 'you will have to wait' response. Thoughts?

It took me over 48 hrs to get my results from Pearson. (it was 49 hrs +)

I don't think it really means anything. (I passed BTW).

How long has it been since you tested?

Thanks for the response. This is torture.

I have no clue, but it's an awful wait.

Has anyone (or know if anyone) gotten their results on the weekend?

Was it posted first on Pearson or the Nursing Boards website?

I have a few classmates that tested on Thursdays and Fridays that got their results on Saturday and Sunday. Also know of people who tested 2 days before a holiday and got their results on the holiday.

Pearson is where they got their results. CT's BON is quick in posting active licenses but never before Pearson has the results available.

I have read some posts here that got their results from their State BON before Pearson.

If you test on a Friday, since most (if not all) state BON's are closed at 5pm ish on Fridays, if you pass your license won't be posted until the next business day which would be Monday

I know in nursing school I had a terrible time waiting patiently for my results, trying to remember all the questions, looking them up! Ugh! Hang in there!

Not all states participate in Quick Results, actually only about 27 do at last count.

The results are normally posted 48 hours after testing if the state is included in the list.

But remember that the Pearson-Vue website states that it can take up to two business days after you test to see your results, their site does not mention the 48 hours.

Best of luck to you and your friends.

I feel your pain and anxiety everyone!!!! I took my test yesterday(Wed) and its killing me today to just wait. I keep checking Pearsonvue website knowing that it is no where near the 48hr period. I guess I'm to anxious. The day of the test I hung out with friends so my mind was not on it. Gosh I can't wait to see the results. I'll be praying for all of you that we all have PASS!!!! Prayer is the key and keep a positive attitude. That is what I keep telling myself to keep a positive attitude.

No, there is no other way except for snail mail. Ca will not issue a license without a SSN and therefore will not issue a license number hence not being released on website
