Pearson vue trick

Students NCLEX

Published

Hello All,

i promised to to drop a note when I finally passed my nclex RN. The Pearson vue trick definitely isn't 100% accurate. I checked it 3 times on several occasions and it took me to the credit card page. I was miserable cos I thought I failed but I received my license 5 days after I took my board.

Whoever is out there discouraged, u can also make it. I thank God I don't have to ever take it again

Everyone goes to the CC page now. In order to do the trick you must put in your CC info then submit to get the good pop up or charged = a possible fail. Congrats !!!

Hi All, I am a New BSN Grad. I've registered with Pearson and I'm ready to send in my completed application for an ATT number. Is anyone familiar with the average wait time to receive your number from Pearson? I am testing in Massachusetts and will be sending my application, Priority or certified mail in the next couple days. Just trying to get an idea.

Thanks. Hope all is well!! :)

The trick is as accurate (or inaccurate) as it ever was; however, in late August 2014 PV updated its registration software and now anyone who attempts to register for another exam (which is what the PVT IS) now is directed to a Credit Card page that allows them to do exactly that.

The OP did not do the PVT correctly, he/she did not submit the card information. Congrats on passing :)

Like everyone has stated, you are going to be directly sent to the CC page. You need to fill out the info and click submit! But hey, YOU PASSED! Congrats :D

If you are afraid to be charged just change one number in your card number. If you passed it wont try to charge you but will give you the good pop up.

Do you really have to wait 24 hrs after taking the test?

You will not get an ATT until the BoN processes your application for a nursing license by examination. Pearson only forwards once given the OK by the BoN as Pearson does not issue the ATT, the BoN does. If the BoN does not receive your application registering with Pearson Vue is a waste of time and money.

If you must pick one, pay and apply to the BoN. Then later register and pay PV.

It worked fine for both me and my fiance. We got the good message and ended up passing. We live in CA and checked the results about 4 hours after and again the following day with the same message.
