Pearson Vue Trick NCLEX-RN 2017

Hello all. I promised myself that since I came here for comfort and use of the PVT, that I would post my results to attest to its accuracy. I took my test 09/17/2017 at 0800. I had a 1.5 hour drive and had gotten maybe 3 hours of sleep due to stress. I showed up to the freezing cold testing center and somehow snapped out of it and was ready for my exam. I sit down feeling pretty ok and knock out the first 75 questions feeling ok about them. I hit "next" onward to question 76. Question 76 turns into question 100 which then turns to question 200 all the way to 265 (5 hours later). It felt very home health and community teaching based which felt completely out of my element. I finished, closed out the survey as my brain couldn't process anymore, and left the testing center. I have never been more positive that I failed. I didn't even know what answers I was putting towards the end. It felt like I was just picking answers that I liked. i had roughly 68 select all that apply questions that didn't feel too difficult. I began my grieving process and informed everyone how poorly I had just done.

I had gotten home after my 1.5 hour drive and saw this "Pearson-Vue test". I was so desperate to find out how bad I had done. I went to school in Texas and moved to Floirda. The TBON is notoriously slow has a 10 business day waiting period for every possible item that you turn in so I needed to be on top of everything. I read and read on how to do this trick so I decide to go for it. I enter in all of my credit card info with the WRONG expiration date and the WRONG security code and got the "good pop-up". This was about 2 hours after I had taken my test. I had received my confirmation of completion probably 5 minutes after taking my test. So I basically did the PVT every couple of hours and read every article I could trying to get my new hopes up that somehow I managed to pass. Sure enough, 48 hours after I had STARTED my test my quick results were up and I had in fact passed. So, say what you want, it's fixed, it doesn't work, it's never worked, etc. I used it and it made me feel better. Also 265 questions in 5 hours, ugh...

Good luck everyone!

Congratulations to you. Please what do you mean when you say " It felt very home health and community teaching based which felt completely out of my element.'' What type of questions did you see before you concluded the above facts?

Congratulations! I also took all 265 questions and wracked my brain for hours after and decided to do the PVT. Ended up doing the PVT - California's Board of Registered Nursing is also notoriously slow - and got the good popup. I was cautiously optimistic at first, but low and behold 48 hours after I took my test my results were posted! Best of luck to you on the job hunt!

I had probably 170 questions that were either teaching home health patients about health care or teaching nurses about teaching the community about health concerns. (CAD, DM, smoking cessation). I've been a paramedic forever and that mindset is hard to leave behind. I was expecting patient assessment and treatment options. I was really hoping for critical care questions which i got maybe 5.
