Pearson Site Shows PASS; But...

Hello. Thanks for those who calmed me down/supported me during those 48 hours of waiting. After paying 7.95 for quick results, I found out that I passed -- I took the NCLEX last Sat, July 15th. I'm just wondering... until now, I don't see my name in the Office of the Professions website (NY). When I took my LPN exam, I was able to view my name two days after taking it. Is anybody on the same boat with me; or has been in the same situation? I will appreciate your response. Thank you.

It may be that your state BON is just swamped with all the new grads that are requesting TPP and taking the NCLEX. This is a very busy time of the year for them. I wouldn't stress too much, if pearson said you passed then I am sure you passed!

Like you, I found out that I passed through Quick Results, but it took a couple of weeks for my BON to add me to their website.

Congratulations!!! My results didn't show up on my state's BON website right away either. hth's In fact, I received my letter from the BON, in the mail, before it showed up on their site.

Hey there, I'm in NY, and have been checking along with my friends for their numbers to show up.....it's taken 6-7 days; one was at the end of the 7th day, just before close of business.

I took the nclex 6/28 and passed still checking for my name on Illinois professional board. I think then it's really official for me. 3 weeks now. and i thought waiting for nclex results were bad.

And then, too, is that weird lag between the time someone sees "PASS" and the time they actually get to be an RN: meaning licensure!

I see alot of "I'm an RN now" posts immediately after passing....but you aren't an RN until you are issued a license number. Some states that's a few days, others it's weeks!

I'll be happy to say "I passed", lol....

Congrats! I suggest you keep checking. My friend just took her NCLEX last Friday and it didn't show up until yesterday. I'm in NY as well so I am talking about the office of the professions online verifications site as well.
