Passed NCLEX with 75 questions in Indiana

Students NCLEX

Published

I just recently passed(November 2015) NCLEX with only 75 questions. I wanted to share how I did not study like most do. I was a B student in Nursing school and I had to work my ass off for those grades. I am a mother of two daughters and I also lost both my parents during the last two semesters of school. My whole journey was nothing short of hell. I can only speak from my experience and what prepped me most for NCLEX was how tough and rigorous school was. I graduated in April 2015 and studied for a few weeks then could not do it anymore. I was burn out to the max. I obtained a job on Aug 10th. I had 90 days from then to obtain my license. I used questions from Kaplan (300 questions max), but I also used ATI components throughout Nursing school. After taking NCLEX The Kaplan questions were more difficult than NCLEX. I did practice tests when I had quiet time, which was hardly ever with a job and kids. I also skimmed through Saunders review book to brush up on things I forgot. I reviewed that book a week before I tested. I just wanted to let people know it is very possible to pass if you know you were well prepared in nursing school. I tested 7 months after graduating with minimum studying

I passed with the same amount of questions as you (also in Indiana). I give credit to a rigorous nursing program as well. I did all the studying you did. Except I took the NCLEX 7 weeks after I graduated. Graduated in May, NCLEX in June, 1st Nursing job July 1st, 2012. =)
