Re: Passed NCLEX-RN, first try
I am finally scheduled to take the NCLEX June 2!
The Lord decided I should go to nursing school (long story, but very cool coincidence)
The Lord sent me to a specific school for prerequisites (despite my ego).
I got turned down for one program (my first choice), then accepted to another program - forcing me to go to a nursing school I didn't initially desire (but truly was the best for me and my circumstances looking back)
I prayed my way through studying and every test. He was with me always and now I have graduated from the program with a high enough GPA to earn Summa Cum Laude designation. I have not gotten a job yet, but I can see that God wanted to give me time to study and deal with a child with medical issues.
Now, I pray before my study sessions and will continue to pray. I do not believe the Lord would have brought me this far to see me fail. If I do fail...there has to be a reason and it will become apparent over time.
I am thankful to the Lord and all my fellow nurses who will work alongside me, helping to make this world kinder and gentler. Many thanks to others on this forum for helping me not be so nervous about this exam, accepting whatever the outcome may be.
May we all be successful, may the Lord continue to lift up nursing as a profession, and may we continue to provide loving/knowlegable care to our patients (whether they appreciate it or not).
