Passed NCLEX on 6th Attempt.

Students NCLEX

First of all, i passed NCLEX on the 6th attempt thank you Lord..It was the most toughest journey i've ever had in my life. I graduated as an LPN in 2011, passed my NCLEX-PN on the 1st attempt, then finished my RN in 2014. I was so excited to graduate and take the NCLEX. During the preparation for the first time...i was telling myself, if i were able to pass NCLEX-PN on the first attempt, why can't i pass NCLEX-RN? I have more knowledge, more critical thinking so, i was like its a piece of cake.....WRONG THINKING GUYZZZZZ.....I took it way too easily. Below is my history:

1st attempt--3 weeks of review just reading the content---Result---FAILED w/t 265 Questions.

2nd attempt---Changed a bit, started doing only KAPLAN, did about 90 percent of kaplan(Average score on question trainer were in the 60's)----Result----FAILED w/t 265 Questions.

3rd attempt------Did more questions and read some content-----Result-----FAILED w/t 265 questions.

4th Attempt-------Went to EXCELL REVIEW(One of the best so far)-----Result----FAILED w/t 265 questions.

5the Attempt-------Studied KAPLAN, NCSBN, LAcharity, again more questions----Result----FAILED w/t 265 questions.

6th Attempt-------No studying after the 5th attempt devastated, stopped studying took 3 weeks off.....the day before the exam just skimmed thru the old notes..... CALM, RELAXED, Went to the gym for the whole month------Result----PASSED PASSED w/t 265 questions.

I really don't know if anyone ever heard a story like mine....Only thing i want to share with all of you is DO NOT GIVE UP, I AM A SOLID EXAMPLE. NCLEX is also testing on your stress/anxiety level when you are testing, if you are able to handle the stress, you passed. I was devastated after my 5th attempt, i even decided to change my career after the 5th attempt. But, then i realized if i quit, the time, money and energy i spent will all be a waist.

Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Wonderful news for you... Congrats to you and enjoy this for all it's worth. A nurse told me something a long time ago ..she said it does matter how many questions or how many time you have to take the test... The end when you have a nursing licnese it's your and that's what they ask for , not how many times /questions or how many times it took ...

To God be the glory, great things He has done. My goodness, what a story. Congrats Ebunited on a job well done. You are s prime example that the race is not for the swift nor the battle for the strong, but to those that endures to the end. You will be a great nurse. Enjoy y poo ur success. Thank you for the encouragement.

Thank you for sharing. I just took nclex-RN in Califonia for the 4th time on 4/28...I broke down a little over 48 hours later and did the PVT because I thought for sure I felt like I had passed in 75, with being confident in many of the topics I was presented with, many SATA and at least my last 2 questions (but there were more sporadically before it ended) being a UAP delegation, and a patient priority questions. I felt so confident that I answered my last question correctly, and when it turns off I thought for sure I had passed. So after not seeing my name up in the BRN within 2 mornings, I caved in and put in my accurate cc info and it charged me and my bank account immediately. I am in AWE that I possibly didn't pass. My first time I failed with 75. Then got to 130's the 2nd and 3rd. I thought for sure after completing the Saunders and many many questions (as all recommend to be the best study method) I am devastated, but still hopeful that I am ONE of the mistakes out there.

I admire your faith, and continuation through this process of multiple fails. I feeeeeel horrible. But keeping my head up.
