I'm posting here to thank this site cause i learn a lot of different strategies and tips in preparation for NCLEX RN. I took nclex 4 times, just passed this may 26. The 3rd time i failed i was about to give up but reading some people's experiences here encouraged me to continue. I used kaplan qbank, NCSBN qbank and bought a saunders book with online access to their elsevier qbank. Practice questions a lot cause it really helps. Focus on your goal. if you really want it, you gotta be serious about it. most importantly, throw away all distractions! i am really blessed i have a very solid support systems, who were always there for me and told me not to give up.

i also found a thread here with an attachment of 30+ pages of tips and notes. it was also very helpful. thank you to the one who made it. although some items i have to double check cause it's somewhat different from what i read. but overall it was good. don't think of targeting 75 questions when taking the exam. learn basic normal values. computations and generic drugs. remember, you cannot learn everything. for me, it's impossible to learn everything. as i said, practice answering questions and study the rationale.

for the PVT, it worked for me cause in the 2nd time i took the exam i used it with a valid cc but with

again thank you to all who posted here their experiences. Let us continue to support and encourage upcoming RNs. Good luck to those who will be taking the exam, you can do it, just believe in yourself. chase after your dreams with determination and passion cause for sure you will achieve it. to those who passed, congrats. to those who fail, learn what subject you're having trouble and focus on that. God bless us all.

Thank you. Sorry for the late reply. I was getting that same grade also when I was doing ncsbn and kaplan. i was frustrated cause every answer i selected mostly wrong. but don't get discourage, read the explanations whether you got it right or not. understand it. Aside from the things i mentioned there in my post, i forgot to wrote about prioritization, ABC, nursing assessment, the IPPA, maslows. those are very important. BUT, also remember, they don't always come in order, it depends on the question. focus on the question only, don't ask why. just answer the question first. for me, practicing 100 questions and up per day really helped. i'm not sure if we're allowed to attach files here, i don't want to get credit for the one who made this notes that was really helpful. good luck. you can do it.
