Our local community college that I am attending had a 97% last year for the ADN program. Another local University had an 87% last year. So I choose the ADN program over the BSN...that will come later, PLUS hopefully I can work for a hospital that will have tuition assitance!!!

our pass rate is averaged for the enitre 11 years the program has been at the college.

there have only been 3 people that didn't pass boards on the first try. one lady because of an auto accident in her last quarter. one lady because she graduated but didn't want to go into nursing. and another guy failed his first attempt but passed his on his second.

this is information that i got from one of our first year instructors. i have never seen it in writing but the dean of the college spoke at the recent graduation and quoted the same statistics (leaving out the personal details mind you).

Each Board of Nursing has the results for each and every program in their state. This is one item that is used in approving the school and them keeping their accreditation.

Always check with the BON for your state before starting any program.
