I just took the NCLEX today and I think I passed! I got the good pop up. I studied for 2 months. I used Hurst, learning extension 5 weeks (questions on this program is SOOO similar to the NCLEX exam), exam cram excram cd, and mosby pharmacology learning note cards. Read ALL the rationales and understand them. I also have Sauders 5th edition, but I did not read the book. I just did the questions on the CD. They have a section on the CD where they have 200 SATA questions. Those were very helpful! I hope this helps. You will pass!

NCSBN’s Comprehensive Online NCLEX-RN Review Class . NCSBN Learning Extension it's a program by NCSBN. It's affordable and very helpful. Their questions are mirror image of NCLEX, simple yet complicated.

I skimmed thru the content because they were too long, I went over the ones I'm weak in. Do every single quizzes on the program. I scored 60% first time on pretest 2nd time 80%. Scored between 48%-55% and 2nd time around 77-90% on the quizzes. Most important read the rationale, they're so important. You'll find some tips at the end of each content remember those, you'll see what I mean. Don't study things you already know. Do the ones that's hard to stick in your head. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Tell yourself everyday that you're going to pass the NCLEX. Don't over study the materials, take a break after 20 to 40 questions, you have to let those questions and rationales marinate in your brain. And then do questions again. I did 100-150 a day. Remember you can retake the quizzes and they will give you some new questions each time you take it. I was scoring really low on those quizzes too. I retook them until I scored above 75%. Are you aware of the 35 pages study material floating around on allnurses? The new rule shouldn't matter, if you know your content ,you will PASS this test. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!!! And don't forget to pray <3

Here's a cool video from youtube for remembering cranial nerves.

Learning extension is at learningext.com it's another form to study for and affordable. I can chose to take the course in 3, 5, 8 or 15 weeks it has a review of material then question includes rationals. I've heard nothing but good things about it but it's not out there like hurst and kaplan
