PA nclex results?

Students NCLEX

Published

I have a feeling this is going to sound a bit neurotic but I'm going crazy...

So I took my NCLEX at 8am yesterday, I had 75 questions, I felt "ok" about it but no overwhelming pass or fail feelings. I had 21 select all that apply (even though I know that doesn't matter.) I finished in about 40 minutes.

I got the "good" pop up when I tried the Pearson Vue trick. Even Though I KNOW it's not proven to be accurate I just had to do something. ..

Pearson Vue quick results still say they are not available. When I search my name on the PA license site, nothing comes up. Now I know many will say this is normal and that it can take weeks for the BON to post your license number, and 48 hours for pearson quick results.

HOWEVER, here is where my stress is coming into play. The only 2 other people I know who recently took the Pennsylvania boards (one was 2 weeks ago, the other 6 months ago) had their license numbers posted within 24 HOURS!!! It's been over 24 hours for me and I'm freaking out.

If you took them in PA how long did it take for your name to appear of the BON? Anyone who has experiences of friends in the same states with different wait times for their license???? ANYTHING that may be relevant to help me calm down?!?

I appreciate any words you all my offer. I have really valued reading posts on this site over the past few months, and turn here for many nursing questions. I trust you guys!

try to relax and believe in the good pop up. =) imagine living in California where we have to wait up to 6 weeks for our names to be posted.

It took 48 hours for my license to appear-I didn't pay for quick results.

I didn't pay for quick results.

I thought PA didn't participate. At least, they didn't when I took NCLEX. My license appeared 47 hours after I finished my test.

When I got my license in 2012, several of my classmates used the quick results to find out that they passed-it may have changed, since it takes about 24-48 hours to post anyway. :D

I live in NY and obviously the process may be quite different, but I had friends test one day after me and their licence numbers showed up two days before mine posted on the NY BON website. I know this probably feels like one of the worst 48 waits of your life (I just went through it myself), but just try to keep yourself busy and not psych yourself out. Quick results should be available soon, perhaps today if you tested on Thursday!

I'm in the same boat. I took NCLEX-RN yesterday at 1p. Finished in 106 questions and got the good pop up after getting the email. PALS is currently down due to maintenance and I feel like a crazy person checking every 10 minutes! My husband is forcing me to get ready and go Christmas shopping with him to take my mind off of this. The wait is awful! ?
