my RN nclex was on 8/8 and still no licence on the pa website just wondering if anyone in pa took theres around this time and has found out yet called the state and she said that results can take 2-30 days i'm dying over here the w aiting is the worst.

I took my LPN boards that day too (in michigan) still waiting for the results... Good luck!!! I got 85 questions, i feel like i failed tho!

it is just very stressful waiting more so than actually taking the exam i also feeled like i failed but the majority of people who take it feel that way. some people say they can tell the harder and easier questions they all seemed hard to me. alot of delegation, what to do first, call who first, see who first. i'm just so afriad and i wasn't a bad student in school just as each day goes past i get more worried.

Thanks for responding to my post - I'm adding my tid-bit to yours (took NCLEX on 8/9):

I totally know how you feel! Actually, at question 24 I seriously wanted to just start crying and get up and walk out of the exam... I felt like I was getting every single one wrong.

I've found consolation in a few things:
(1) My temporary permit license is still listed on the website
(2) There was only 1 August appointment left for all of the New York City, Maryland, DE, and Philadelphia area test centers when I signed up... so PA BON is probably pretty booked
(3) What bureaucratic system is ever timely in getting results back - especially in the summer vacation months?
(4) Most everyone on this website thought they failed...

Hopefull 1-4 adds up to both of us passing and finding out SOON! GOOD LUCK! Let me know when you find out

i know keeping busy is hard to do when you so stressed my mom keeps telling me that it hasn't even been 48 hours since the web site is only updated at 7 am but that dosn't make me feel any better and i hate to say it but everyone in my house is suffering for my stress. i have tried telling my self that the board is backed up but this little guy in the back of my mind keeps saying no it should be there by now.

HEy...I know exactly how u feel....I took my NCLEX 8/8 and im from PA...I still havent seen my name up on the website and i am freaking out....Everyone keeps telling me I passed,but i want to see it from the board of nursing first! Good Luck and try to keep urself busy if not u will go crazy!

How do you know if you failed, though? Do they post that? Or, do you have to wait for the letter in 30 days?

that is part of the problem in pa you don't know if you failed just if you passed you have to wait for the papers in the mail if u don't see you name online.

If you failed, you will get a big yellow envelope in about 4-5 days after the test. The letter will ask you to return the temperary license. They will not deactivate your temp. license until they got the temp. license back.
Did not want to get you scared, just answering how can you know if you failed.
Most of my friends saw their RN license isued on PA website in 48 hours. But i also know cases of those who passed for PA, and they saw the license in a week and even more.
So relax, or call the bon. Don't ask for the result. Ask about the license. Say, May i find out if my license have been issued?

i didn't get a temp i was going to start working when the kids went back to school. waiting is killing me and i know it sometimes takes longer than 48 hours i will go crazy waiting called state and they said results could take up to 30 days. hope not. anyone in pa take boards lately and how long did it take for you to find out
