The optimal number of patients in a group therapy session is?

hi everyone just a bit of confusion regarding number of patients in a group therapy session. What is the allowable number of patients?is it 6-8 or 8-12.??

This is just what I learn from my review. Most groups have 6- 12 patients, with 8 often considered as the optimal number of patients. The more patients, there is too little time for each member to participate. The fewer there's a tendency to inhibit free of expressions because patients are afraid to disagree with their co-patients. Let us see what other members can share with you.
