and the verdict is I PASSED I'm still in total disbelief. I had managed to convince myself i failed because i felted the test was so much easier this time around then my first try in July. I also got alot of what i thought were content based questions which everyone told me were the easy level question, and i also got alot of questions wrong.

A couple of things i did differently from the first time:
1. the night before i did not study the only thing i did was look over some values
2. The morning of the test i woke up early and had breakfast (even with the runs) a good source of carb
3. All the way to the testing center i kepted telling myself you can do it, you know the answers.
4. I put my ID card in the corner of the monitor so i wouldnt get distracted with the # of questions
5. I took my time answering the question and rephrasing it in my own words.
6. Last but not least i prayer, KAPLAN prayer and more KAPLAN

hope this helps repeat test takers or just anyone about to take the NCLEX good luck.

I am so happy for you!! I knew you could do it, we all can!! I re-test on the 16th and I feel more prepared this time. Can't wait til it's my turn again! By gosh I am gonna pass this time!!!!!!!

AT THIS PRESENT TIME I AM LOOKING AT THE SECOND WEEK OF NOVEMBER AROUND THE 14.

WOW CONGRATS!!!

I just want you to know... You give me hope!! =) I took my test last July with 75 questions and failed. I was so miserable and depressed, and took me like at least 2 weeks to get back to hitting the books again. I had a different review course the last time, and now I'm taking Kaplan. Can I just say, Kaplan is sooo much more than what I had expected! It is so comprehensive and very, very informative. How I wished I took Kaplan before. It's kinda like nursing school all over again - only everything's kind of shortened. (bec. it the freakin' NCLEX already! Haha!)

I just have a couple of questions. Did you find Kaplan really helpful when you took your NCLEX? How was it similar and/or different from the actual NCLEX? Were you satisfied that you took Kaplan?
