Oh boy, I'm going to lose it!! NCLEX in 3 weeks!!

3 weeks is about the amount of time that I had to prepare. Did you take the HESI and how did you do? I think that if you can get your % correct rate up to 70-80% range, then you probably can do it. I'd hold off rescheduling and see if you can bring your average up, doing 100-200 practice questions a day. If you're not at that level by the time you are scheduled to test, then reschedule for a later date.

I have exactly three weeks til D-Day, too... if you haven't studied, perhaps take a look at a harder test, like Kaplan's diagnostic or the test that comes with their smaller book (not the course one, just the one you can buy by itself with a CD inside)... See how you do... Kaplan says that if you can score in the 65% neighborhood, you are 97% likely to be capable of passing NCLEX. Don't be blase about that number, though, thinking that you have been getting 70-80% on the others, so it must be the same: the first Kaplan test I took (getting in 70-80s in Saunders, etc...) was a 44!!!!!! Seriously, it's a whole different ball game... if you can still get in the 70-80s in the others, and do okay in Kaplan, you're set.

I'm losing my mind!! My school/state took forever to process paperwork so I could not get motivated to study! I've been done since March and have studied on/off - nothing impressive - since then. FINALLY, got my ATT and picked a date. Am I on a suicide mission??

Do I even bother to 'review' material or just start knocking out questions? I have Saunders Comprehensive, Davis Q & A, and Priortization & Delegation. I get about 50-60% on the practice tests. Sometimes better, sometimes worse. No specific area is weak, just the same across the board.

I took LPN boards in 2003 without studying......not feeling the same about this exam!!

I was an LPN-RN student, too. Took NCLEX RN this morning... I was nervous the last 2 weeks. I studied from Saunders NCLEX Q&A, did all the questions in the book then used the CD. I have too many NCLEX RN book, but I didn't want to confuse myself so I just focused on 1 book. You will be fine, I know it's easier said than done.

I got the good pop up from PVT this morning after the test, so hopefully I really passed.

Do as many practice questions as you can, that's what I did. I did 100-200 questions everyday and made my notes. Those practice questions really help a lot.

Erin, if I remember right, you were an EC student? Passed all nursing exams and CPNE. Believe me, NCLEX is nothing after that, lol :) Just a regular test, which you will pass after 75 questions :)
