Unfortuantly I really stuggle w/ the infection control part. I've heard that every so often they change what the NCLEX focuses on so hopefully in Oct. it will still be what we are studying.
How are you doing on the Q-Bank? I only seem to get 50-60's? Are you taking the PN or RN NCLEX? Maybe we could be help encourage each other and throw around ideas if you would like. Seems most my school mates are not to worried about the test as I am.

I am taking the NCLEX PN in October. It's coming quickly! I've been doing the Kaplan too and I have been tryin to do 100 plus questions a day. I did all of the questions on Q-Bank I didn't feel I did all that well. I was ranging in the 50%. I am doing Saunders practice questions and trying to read the book as much as possible. The pharm is killing me. Did you see the thread... on infection control? Contact: Mrs Wee Airborn: My chicken haz TB Droplet: Spiderman? Also I believe there is a thread on here about what precautions to take with each. I've have heard the same thing about changing every so often but I thought it was yearly. Who knows... there is so many rumors on this site it's hard to even know what is right and what's made up??? I mean I am VERY thankful for this site. It's just like I said sometimes messes with my emotions. Yeah I am up for helping motivate and ideas and tips to help each other out.

Sorry to hear you didn't pass. Hold you head up and don't give up!!!

You will have to reregister to take it again and you'll have to pay another fee to take it again. They should send you a packet in the mail and if you didn't pass it will have all of the reregistering stuff in it. It will also let you know how you did on the test. It'll tell you, your weak areas and strong areas. At least in the state that I live this is the way they do it.

I am happy to see we are getting into some kind of study groove here. I those who have. If you haven't gotten the groove....

LETS STEP IT UP A NOTCH.. and start posting along with encouragement, helpful links that may help us guys and gals study I'll start:
LABS- everyone should have their cheat sheet with all common labs and some not so common:
http://www.drugguide.com/ddo/ub/view...boratory_Tests
don't forget CVP, ICP, etc. think of the organ and what labs go with it

DIABETES-you know they always throw that when to give and which insulin question so:
http://www.isletsofhope.com/diabetes...n_types_1.html

Lets start thinking like the nurses we are and remember ABC. MASLOW, RACE, BLS, math formulas even old school gr and lets do it
