kharrie122807: I don't think that you could work as a CNA in CA. I tried applying as a CNA here in PA and they want me to be certified and take the CNA course. It's BS but that's how they do it here. I tried applying as a home health aide but hubby wouldn't let me. Since I need to drive and I haven't learned how to drive yet. Plus, I need to get the required basic life support training before I even get hired. When do you plan taking NCLEX? I'll take mine by November. This will be my 2nd time taking the NCLEX.

@xxjjccbb: I don't have a date yet since I'm still waiting for my ATT to be released. But I'm pretty sure I'll take it by November. I'm just reading Saunders Compre. With answering questions, I'm doing the Saunders Q&A, Kaplan Strat and LaCharity PD&A. I also answer free Qbank questions in the Kaplan website at Facebook.

kharrie122807: PA is short for Pennsylvania. With the home health aide, it's like private nursing. You actually need to google some agencies that hire home health aides or you could check it at craigslist. Some of the requirements is that you should know how to drive since you are caring for elderly patients. You need to drive them to their respected doctor's appointments. Maybe do some self-care activities like bathing and grooming. Plus a little cleaning in the house and cooking for them. I think it's only for 6-8 hours.

I wanna say YES but I'm not sure. Just try. It was easy for me since I already have a Facebook account.
