No Show Penalty

Im nervous because I unintentionally missed my exam. How could I you ask...gee..Im considered really intelligent too. First I freaked out over the fact that I couldnt reschedule and had less than 3 weeks to test. I had been listening to my classmates who rescheduled seemingly countless times. I failed to read my own ATT (smh). I was under the assumption that I too would be able to reschedule for up to a year or so. So anyway that was the first thing. I did manage to reschedule and that added like 4 more days.So I did not mark my calender like I always do. I then for some crazy reason thought my exam was the last date on my ATT. I know this is stupid. Because I was anxious, nervous and more, I printed out the new test date and put it away. I never looked at it again. Looking at the close date made me sick. So a few days before what I thought was the scheduled date, I looked at it and oh boy, I saw my exam date had passed. I was now a no-show. Great. I would have simply canceled the thing before becoming a no-show. Initially, I was going to instead of rescheduling... I should have.
How could I be so stupid? My daughter says everything happens for a reason since my missing the date wasnt intentional and it wasnt. So Im wondering will I get penalized in terms of having to wait a certain amount of days before I get another ATT or before I can schedule my exam???
I know I sound like a real air head. In this case, I guess I am. I just didnt want to put myself under any more stress...to look/read that thing when I thought the date was imprinted in my brain. I hate that this no-show thing will be reported to the Board of Nursing. Now what?
I reregistered already and am now waiting to get another ATT.........
Im trying to keep it together, afraid to tell my family but I know I will have to in few days.................
