No SATA & passed?

Hi!

Is there anyone who took nclex recently without any SATA question or at least less than 5 SATA and passed?
SATA questions just add to my nclex anxiety!!

SATA is just another style of questions, you can still get none or very few and pass

I only had 3 or 4 and I took this this past Friday and got my results today that I passed! I was going crazy thinking I was doing so horrible to get so few of those questions but I had a TON of priority and delegation.

Congratulations Tiffany! I wish i would have less SATA and pass. I would rather have lots of priority and delegation than SATA because i think to be able to answer SATA you need to somewhat memorize. I am afraid to take nclex again because the 1st time i took it i had 10 SATA and failed with 87 questions.

How did you prepare for the nclex?

I believe I had 3 or 4 on my NCLEX and passed; SATA's are my weak point. A lot of SATA questions are pathophys-related I've found, and it is just difficult for me to pick ALL the right ones. If it is your weak point my best advice is to seek out all the SATA practice questions you can find and answer them. Whatever you get wrong, study up on it and learn from it... That's pretty much the only way I think to tackle SATA questions, you either get it all right or you don't!

You are totally right! I think SATA are knowledge base or pathophys-related. You won't be able to answer a SATA questions of hyperthyroidism without knowing the diseases itself.

Thanks for your advice and Congratulations! I'm really excited to be an RN but my anxiety for the exam is so high but i wanna take it soon.

I hate SATAs and that is the main reason why I purchased an alternative format NCLEX questions book to get better at it.

I am not sure if there is a single person who loves SATA! If there is,he/she must tell us how to love SATA as well.

Thank you RNindmaking.

I bought the Kaplan strategies book and only purchased the Kaplan Qbank, did all the questions from the cd and book and finished the qbank a few days before my exam day, averaged about a 60%. I found that the questions in the qbank were VERY similar to the questions on the NCLEX. Anything I was weak in I would go to my Saunders Review book and just clarify. I actually saw one of the EXACT same questions on my exam that I did in the qbank, they just changed the name of the drug, same class though. Hope this helps.
Good luck!
