No NCLEX Results Yet!!

I have read other discussions regarding CA BON can take several weeks for results, but I'm am going crazy here waiting especially when a friend of mine took her NCLEX exam a week after me only to get the results in 3 days online. I called the board to find out if they have my transcripts and everything needed to process my paperwork. I was told it could take up to 1 month to get the results, because they have not processed my paperwork. What the !%&*http://allnurses.com/forums/
angryfire is wrong with this picture. I was very sick the day of the exam with a sinus infection, worst headache of my life, had a astma attack at the center before the test, and coughed the whole time taking the exam. The darn computer shut off at 75 questions, leaving me to feel while a failure after spending 2 1/2 hours to answer the 75 questions. I feel as though I failed the exam, I'm supposed to start orientation tomorrow and sick to my stomach of going to tell them that I believe I'd failed the exam. Oh a couple other people took their exam the same time I did and my friend and their names are not on the computer either. Go figure. Thanks for letting me fent about the situation.

I'm sure you did just fine! Everyone feels like they failed the test, that's how you're supposed to feel afterwards. Getting 75 questions is a really good sign! I know it's hard, but just try to enjoy the fact that it's over with!! You're all done now, just try to enjoy not having to study and go do something fun if you can. I hope you can find out soon!

Default No results
I know exactly how you feel! I took my nclex 7/11. Got 75, felt pretty good, and i have yet to see my name appear. A few of my classmates took it AFTER me on 7/12 and 7/13 and some of them are up and some are not. The CA BRN is crazy! I am freaking out too! Try too relax! Good luck.

I had to wait 9 long, miserable days...9 days of thinking I failed and trying to figure out where else I could possibly work...However, I did pass after 101-2? questions. I, along with 4 others took our boards in Santa Maria, and we all waited 7-9 days, where others from my class took it in San Jose, and they found out 2 days later!!! California is so random. Don't make yourself sick checking q5min...the BRN updates there website around 2-3 am M-F...so check ONCE every morning Tuesday thru Sat. I found out my results Saturday morning (at 5:30 am!! Talk about not being able to sleep!)

One more note...if you don't find out in a week, I would definitely call...my girlfriend went to Sacramento herself and she said they were very disorganized...they lost her transcripts the first time, so she had them resent--went back to the main office and they lost them again!! After waiting for 1 hour, they finally found her transcripts stacked underneath a bunch of paperwork. Yikes!!! I hope that doesn't happen to anyone else...

Good luck, but if the computer shut down on 75--I'm 99.9% sure you passed--congratulations!!!

Thanks everyone for the encourgement, hoping that I passed. Found out today that several other people took the exam the day before or same day that I did and they also are still waiting for the results. I did call and they said they have not processed my paperwork yet. Ok so how long does it take? Why does other people who have taken the exam after I did has gotten confirmation on the website.

Default What is up whith that?
Your girlfirend who went up to Sac, Did she (or does anyone?) Have a clue about why they refuse to release results when apparently all other states do? I am serious about finding out what is up. I will accept links to the BON also. Thanks...
And p.s. I am only requesting information about the reason Person vue resluts aren't released...not the license

Each state has the right to set whatever rulings that they want. CA will also let a student test when they do not have the set of transcripts from the school. This is usually what holds up the license.

There are about 20 other states that do not have early notification either, it is not only CA.

Default A better way
There has got to be a better way! I am still waiting it's been 7 days. I have tried to call the Board but it is busy all the time! Good luck to everyone else still waiting. This is the most horrible feeling! I just keep telling myself, no news is better than bad news!

Thanks for the support! It's comforting to hear that I'm not the only one going crazy! Hopefully I will have good news soon!

When I took my exams, we had to wait over three months and it came only by snail mail. Be happy that you can find out in a much shorter time.
