  1. Congratulations!
  2. Meds are crap shoot. You may have never heard of a certain medication, and I might know it by heart. And vice versa, I might not have heard of one that you know. So you can't really judge it when people post that they "never heard of any of their drugs". If someone got 15 they had never heard of...you might know all 15 with no problem. I only had 5-10 on mine and they were ones I had heard of..or could tell what it was by looking at the answers given. Nclex will always help you out with something in the question or answers.
  3. I agree with KGH, it is a crap shoot. Some of them I knew, some I had no clue. I didn't study a whole lot on meds just because I knew there was no way to know them all. I studied the med groups and their common suffixes. If I knew it, great, if I didn't I did my best by looking at the answer options and going from there. I tried going over the med sections in Saunders but it was so overwhelming with all the names. I was happy to see them though, because it was a good sign that I was in the higher level questions. As for side effects, I often looked for the SE that would lead to problems....like tachycardia....could lead to dysrhythmias over a choice like nausea. I'm sorry I don't have more for you.
