New palm vein technology

Hello all,

I was just curious if this new palm vein technology is the ONLY thing they will be using now for first time test takers. Or is it this AND fingerprints as well?

Thanks!

I had this as well today. It certainly is odd, and when I and the testing assistant tried to see what was in the picture, it was so faint that it was amazing that there was anything at all to be seen.

I had a long sleeved top and they asked me to pull up my sleeves so that they could see my arms all over.....

So they only did the palm vein thing? No fingerprints? Whats the point of this? Is it like another criminal background?
