Slow down and take a deep breath.

You are going to need to reapply to the BON in NC, you will need to submit payment to them as well.
You are also going to need to pay for the exam to Pearson-Vue. Not sure what the retake time is for your state, but be aware that the earliest for any of the states is 45 days and some are 90 days.

You will have to obtain another ATT just like you did before.

I would not rush into anything with trying to test as soon as you can, rather focus on preparing for this new exam before anything else if you wish to have the best chance of passing.

Reason that you did not see any information on the sites that you looked at is that they have nothing at all to do with retesting. Everything must be done thru your state, and each and every state can set their own requirements. Pearson-Vue only acts as an agent for your state.

Best of luck to you.

As Suzanne said, contact your state board to get a new application and follow the instructions for retesting. Devise your study plan. Make certain you leave yourself enough time to restudy everything as if you have never tested before. Suggest you consider using Suzanne's plan for studying. You can read about it in the stickies at the top of this forum. Good luck.

Hello I am from North Carolina...I have failed the test only one time...In North Carolina you can retake the exam in 45 days..so you can take the test on the 46th day!!!!You are going to have to reapply to Pearson Vue which is $200 and you are going to have to apply to North Carolina BON which is $45..I think!!! They will send you packet in the mail!!! Best of Luck to you!!! I know that you can do it because I did it!!!!!

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me or even through Private Message!!!

They cannot contact you thru private messaging service since they do not have 15 posts credit to their account.
