don't try and do any last minute cramming, just doesn't work. Try and take the last day as a day off and relax. If you have any idea's on your weaknesses from last time try and concentrate on that area otherwise just keep practicing questions

Good luck

Remember that you have waited & worked hard prepared for this exam. Just have a short review or thoughts about the do's and don'ts like prioritization, delegation, infection control, Maslows & Nursing Process and don't forget to pray. And don't rush yourself on the timer. Remember that each question counts. God Bless! I'll keep you in my prayers.

thanks guys, for all the advice and support....i needed that, trying not to be pressured too much, just been doing questions and concentrating on pharma which is my weakest point.thnks again.

Virg2z: Like you I didn't pass my first NCLEX-RN exam. I'm happy to say that I passed my second try last week. What did I do diffently? Well, first of all, I was more prepared mentally, physically! I studied systematically the second time. I managed to do 100 questions per day. I concentrated using only two resources (Saunders and NCSBN). I rescheduled once because I felt that I wasn't ready. A week before my test I was still doing 100 questions per day. I was rewriting stuff that I keep forgeting. I find it helpful because I can visualize what I wrote. Two days before my test date, I just revisited lab values, and if something comes into my head that I needed to find out about, I went ahead and look it up. That's about it, I kept my books away and just relaxed. Good luck to you.

i think its very important not to rush during your exam. take your time and read each answer carefully. the worst thing is rushing. pay no attention to the clock, its intimidating. if 2 answers are correct, pick the 1 with the most detailed information however make sure it applies to what is being asked.

2nd, know that priority questions are good. if you get them, then you are doing something right. you are gonna be fine. good luck and relax, cant wait to hear the good news. - tflorn
