NCSBN Scores

Hello, Im new to the board. Just curious to know (for those who have taken the NCSBN review) what your scores were like.

I have just started doing the review and have scored a 61% on the diagnostic test (even though I thought I did wayyyy better) and a 65% on the first quiz.

Any feedback would be so greatly appreciated!!!

Please HELP...I am concerned

Thanks, Maria

I'm getting about the same scores as you. A 66% on diagnostic and 60-70% range on the others. I'm up to posttest 5 and only scored a 90% on one of them. I don't know what to make of it. Kind of disappointed but I'll continue to push forward. I've been out of nursing school for almost 8 years, and after one failed attempt, I'm finally ready to try again.

Good luck and keep us posted!

I just read the ENTIRE Saunder's book so it was still fresh in my mind!

When are you testing? Is this your first time?

Well thank you very much for the support. All I can do is continue on reviewing and doing questions.

lvlytxn, I am actually just mailing my application in today to the Florida Board of Nursing and paying Pearson Vue TODAY. I hope to get a day to test within a month....soooo, hopefully I will be testing by mid November.

I enrolled in the NCSBN 5 week course!

I'm doing the 5 week, too. I'm hoping to test in Dec. as soon as I get approved by a nursing board. Any board, at this rate. I haven't tested since '00 so I'm having trouble finding a board that will let me test since so much time has elapsed. In TX, we have to test within 4 years of graduating or repeat a nursing program. I currently live in Japan so that's totally out of the question. I'll be testing at the Pearson Vue in Tokyo, but yikes, their fee is an extra $100 from what I would be paying if I was stateside.

Anyways, good luck and keep me posted!
