NCSBN Question

Nursing Students NCLEX

Anyone do this review prior to the NCLEx. I'm getting between 65-70% on all my tests which is below the 75% level. Anyone else have this issue. I know I'm getting more wrong than right, but the percentage is so :(

I'm using them as well. I have the 3 week extension for Nclexpn. When I first started I was getting 50-55's on the first few practice tests with the (*) sign. and a 70 on one of them. Then I started reviewing content on my Saunders book and I would do questions here and there. Then last night I was doing a few & feeling more confident since I reviewed some contents. Las night I was getting 72's- and one 88. I was surprise bc for me I thought getting 65-70's were good enough. I think your doing fine bc the amount of questions were ranging for 18-20 questions each set. I haven't taken mine yet though so sorry im not much help, I'm taking mine on Thursday but I just wanted to let you know, what I think about them. You'll eventually get higher scores if you continue reviewing content especially in the ones you get wrong. I would usually look stuff up and figure out why it's wrong since the rationales weren't that good on some of them. Good luck on reviewing and just keep pushing yourself. I'm actually about to get back on my Saunders book. Stay positive, you've got this!

Those percentages only calculate readiness and ability to pass.

I got 70%-78% on my practice tests...I passed the NCLEX on the first try. No worries, the focus is the review of the questions and WHY the answer is the best answer, teaching you how to think critically. Keep plugging at it, you will be ready for this exam with that review! :)

Glad this thread got bumped, as I was wondering the same. Got a 69% on the pretest and have been ranging 65-70% on practice questions there and pretty much across the board. I take NCLEX RN on Thursday and am nervous as hell! Lol

^The lack of rationales force you to review material, which is why I LOVED this review...there are going to be times where further investigating is needed, so that was the takeaway I got from the review. Saunders is great as well. Good luck and no worries. You are ready! :)

^Started off the same way..the end results are in my previous post. Stay the course, learn the WHY you are missing the best answer, and press on. Good Luck!! :)

Just an update. I took the test on Thursday at 8am.. Did the pvt as soon as I left the building and got the good pop up! Saturday I found out that I officially Passed!! Thankful to God and to all the prayers and everyone in this site for all the positive and encouraging words. I think that doing the NCSBN questions helped me in passing my test, they have challenging questions that made me push myself harder & to aim for a higher score... Good luck to everyone that's taking it. Pray and just breathe, walk in there confident you will pass..If i did, you can too!

Pray for me too. I take mine next week! I feel like some of my scores are going up. I even had an 85% on one of the practice exams. I highly recommend this program. Your right it forces you to look things up! I hope I will do alright.

Ohh and congrats to those who have passed so far. You give me hope!
