What is the best way to use the NCSBN online learning tool. I am using the three week study tool.

Go for the review questions. Review questions and rationales...if you don't understand the rationales, review the source...NCBSN has great resources in the course material.

I quickly read the chapter reviews and took each section test. I would stop and study something using Saunders or my textbooks if I got hung up on a concept. I completed the entire course, reading all the sections and taking all the exams in less than 2 weeks. Finished my NCLEX in 75 questions/50 minutes. I thought the NCSBN course was a great. The only thing I didn't like was that the questions were so hard, I was only getting 60-70 on the section reviews. It made me nervous, but by the time I did the practice tests at the end, I was getting 75 - 88% on them. I took the free Kaplan online exam when I finished the NCSBN course and got a 76, which translated into a 97% chance of passing. Made me feel confident going into the test. Good luck!

Where did you get the free Kaplan exam? How many questions? Thanks!

I did NCSBN, Hurst and ATI, if I could do it over I would just do the NCSBN online review and a bunch of questions. I spent more time one my weak areas, skipped my strong areas. I thought the NCSBN review was comparable to NCLEX but a lot more difficult, I wasn't feeling confident after doing some of the sections but review should be harder than the test!!

I'm also planning to purchase the 5weeks ncsbn review course. I hope it can help me a lot. Any suggestions guys?

I purchased the three week course but only used it for questions. I did every question on it once and it was very helpful. I found the content somewhat useful, but I feel like you would need to supplement it with another source. For me, it was easier to just pick Saunders as content review and a variety of sources for questions.
