Don't be nervous.. easier said than done, but if you put in the effort, you will get a good outcome!

i feel like im doing so crappy on the q trainers and qbanks.. i know i wont get all the questions right but geeze there stuff on them that im like ._______________. no idea. i just want to curl up in a ball and not open another book again - Jun 11, '12 by ISeeYou3100Quote from PneumothoraxYep. Been feeling the same way lately about those questions. Im seeing questions about stuff we never discussed in nursing school. And that's frustrating!! But at least we are seeing them now, and reading the rationales. Maybe that will help us!

something i was told when applying to nursing school (and i've remembered the words well) was the advice to apply to a minimum of three schools of nursing. yes - you will have a favorite, but don't allow that to cost you in the long run. most schools just across your state line offer "border state" or "border county" tuition even if they don't publicly promote such an offer. while it is competitive to get in to a school of nursing, there's a lot to be said for the caliber of their students, too. -
- Jun 11, '12 by CatzillaCongratulations to all of you! I'm taking my test in a couple weeks and am having bouts of crazy psychosomatic panicky yuckiness. Reading your success stories and the prep that you have done (along with Kaplan scores) has helped me to feel a little less panicky.
- Jun 12, '12 by Snowy12I didn't do Kaplan, I did the HURST review. you guys realize that 85 % of what you study in your books, you won't see on nclex realistically. You have to think like a nurse, you have to see long term and have foresight. Which was good for me, because I wasn't book smart. I didn't get A's or B's. I was a C student all the way through nursing school.
