NCLEX tips

Nursing Students NCLEX

I am taking the NCLEX in 6 days, and I thought maybe those who have taken it and passed would be willing to share their tips. Study tips, relaxation tips whatever you have to help us who have not taken it yet would be helpful. We need your input!

Thank you :)

i saw on suzanna email to respond via pm not email what is "via pm"

that is through PRIVATE MESSAGE. you can click on suzanne's name then click on send a private message.

I didn't use any reviews other than the Saunders Q&A book so I don't know about the NCSBN's course, but I would definitely visit www.ncsbn.org and click on the 2006 Candidate Bulletin for more information about how the NCLEX works. It's truly amazing to me that people go in and take the NCLEX without a basic understanding of the exam's ins and outs. Good luck!

hi! im also using saunder's q & a.. did it help u passing the exam? m also enrolled in kaplan.. and im a bit confused on wat to use,ive got a few more days b4 i sit for the exam.

I don't know of any tips on what to study. I used saunders, Slyvia rayfield review and examcram. I still have yet to pass my boards. Does anyone else feel the same way? I have never wanted something my whole life and I waited until I was older to return to school. Please give advice. Thanks to you all for listening and those who will be taking the exam I wish you luck.

I am taking taking the N-clex on Oct. 18th 2007. I have been out of school since December. I have been studying off and on since then. I feel its crunch time now and I don't want to waste time on things that are not important. Please help! Suggestions are welcome. I have to pass it the first time around. I have been out for some time now I feel like there is a lot I need to brush up on. I am feeling there is too much for me to study. Please Help! Advice Please.

Welcome to the site

Don't try to do any last minute cramming it wont work and added stress will make you feel worse. Each exam is different so hard to predict but priority and delegation does appear to be strong. Best thing to do is keep practicing the questions and understand the rationale to the ones you get wrong

I used Kaplan Quebank and Saunders Q & A, reviewed some binders from school and passed with 75 questions. It took me 1 hour to finish the NCLEX test. I was really scared because I finished so fast, but I can honestly say that Kaplan really prepared me. Kaplan questions are harder than NCLEX. Good Luck to all.
