NCLEX - The nightmare :)

Students NCLEX

Published

Hi everyone :)

I've started to study for the NCLEX exam (from the UK) and I was wondering if anyone can help me about which "Popular themes" are most important to the NCLEX Exam. I've got a few books (Saunders; Kaplan; Assessment; Delegation and Prioritization).

The thing is, I'm a little (well A LOT) concern about the different approaches/strategies to use as well as lack of knowledge about Nursing in the US

So..can you guys give a hand?

Thank you very much

Susana :)

My suggestion is to do questions and then read the rationale, especially on the ones you got wrong. The rationale should help you to look for keywords that will help you in understanding what the questions are asking. Remember this is an exam for a new grad so look at the questions as if you have no experience at all

Thank you very much...I will do that :)

Lets see how it goes x

Hi Susana, I will encourage you to know your content. You can purchase the NCSBN-Learning-ext 3, 5, 8 or 15 weeks program. You can go on their website and read their reviews or even on AN site. All the best to you.

Saunders will really help you with content. Kaplan is great for rationales and understanding how to answer NCLEX questions! Good luck! :)
