Re: July NCLEX takers prayer forum
Trying to sleep last night, I was held awake my the anxiety of NCLEX!! I prayed to God pleading with Him to allow me to go sleep. Asking me to take away all fears from my heart and renewing within me a new spirit. Then I remembered 2Timothy 1:7 "For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love and a sound mind". I started repeating it over and over, until I fell asleep. Now that I have awaken feeling freshed and rejuvenated, I want to share my experience with others who may feel the same way. As I had my worship this morning, I focused on the topic of "Worrying". How ironic, I thought that this is what I have been doing. I have realized that by doing this I am being irreverent and distrusting God. In His Word, He urges us, "Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks" Philippians 4:6. That is what I have promised myself, from today forward. I am not worrying about NCLEX!! What is NCLEX for a God who spoke and this world came into existance. What is NCLEX for a God who heals the brokenhearted and sets the captives free. What is NCLEX for a God who hears and answer prayers. NCLEX is not to BIG for our God to handle. We must just continue to have faith in God to bring us through. I know with the grace and mercy of God on July 29, 2008 I, LadyQT, will pass NCLEX! I want each and everyone of us to have that same mentality. Tell yourselves that you WILL pass NCLEX!!! With God's grace and mercy His love will never take you where He cannot lead you. Remember, "Ask, and God will give you. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the dorr will open for you. Yes, everyone who asks will recieve. Everyone who searches will find. And everyone who knocks will have the door opened. Matthew 7:7-8".
Today is a day of new beginnings! We will no longer worry or fear this NCLEX. But take it on head strong with God on our side. His promises are real, His blessing are true. Let us come bodly before His throne to accept what He has to offer us.
May God bless us all today and everyday as we continue to trust Him and be faithful!!
