You can look at the NCLEX-RN test plan at the National Council of the State Boards of Nursing website.

The instructors at my SON said the change isnt going to be extreme. If you can pass the old standard-you should pass the new standard. Just study the way you have been. You'll pass.

I was wondering this too. My instructors just said that you will have to answer a few more questions correct in order to pass.

hi!! this is the same for the nclex pn, but i'm hearing all this hearsay that it's gunna be even harder. the change is april 1, 2008. although i looked it up, & i believe it's only about getting more questions right in order to pass. (raising the passing bar i guess!) so i guess the change is the same for us. if there's anyone else out there who know, please let me know...... i say the heck w/ the change! i've been stressing off that, but i'm just gunna keep studying. good luck to all of us. rn or pn!!

Hi I tok the test yesterday, of course each test is going to be different but this one did seem harder for me only because I had tons of meds I've never seen before. You try to study everything, but how can you retain it all. I'll just have to have faith and pray GOD will bring me through it. I took P>N second time around.

This is the first I have heard of this. I had no idea they revised the test. I took it for the first time in March and it was so hard then. I did not pass. I had a lot of SATA and Med. questions. If there is more meds on this test then I don't know what I will do. There are so many to learn as is. Does anyone have a good way of studying meds? If so please pass on.
