I just took my today and I got A LOT of help from the folks here and I would agree Infection Control, SATA, Prioritizing, Lab Values and Drugs are a must. Although I know a lot of drugs and I still got stuff I had no idea about.

i would be taking the exam on this Tuesday and honestly i feel so nervous already .. i know i have read and i have also solved kaplan and mosby's but each time i read or solve i feel there are so many things i am still learning .. it makes me nervous thinking what if i get something i am not much familiar with ... i am really hoping i keep my calm during the exam and deliver my best ...

all the very best to AB and to all those who are still to appear for the same ..

Ok, sorry to say i just took the nclex 4 days ago. I did kaplan, saunders, karrenbergs, and every other possible teaching mechanism. dont let anyone tell you to forget or focus on one thing. I for example had about 10-15 med questions... (yet someeone above told you not to focus on them) and zero math questions. my friend who also tested recently had the exact opposite. i finished in 88 questions and left feeling completely sure i failed, but i in fact PASSED.....my friend left literally in tears cuz she knew she failed AT 75 QUESTIONS, SHE PASSED TOO.... the test is designed to determine if you are safe in several categories, not just one or two... if you answer a question wrong, it will ask you more questions on the topic, at the same time, if you get a question right, it will also ask you more questions on that topic at a higher level to see if you meet the criteria.. your low level questions will be ones that you are able to reason your way through with out too much difficulty, the high level questions will require you to think deeper into the question to get the answer an wont be so appearant at first view, those SATA question will seem terrible but just stick to your guns and dont freak out..... THE MORE HIGH LEVEL QUESTIONS YOU CAN ANSWER CORRECTLY, THE SHORTER YOUR TEST WILL BE.....MOST IMPORTANTLY...... RELAX AND GOOD LUCK....

hey pals cleared nclex this month and honestly its such a relief ...

be thorough with saunders and pharmac,, att book for pharmac is pretty good, kaplan course book pharma and herbals is good for last minute review ... " do read herbals from kaplan without fail "

i was asked a lot of pharmac questions and also prioritization infection control
the prioritization book by linda (mosby) was pretty helpful for me.

Make a plan and follow it and you will make it do not cheat with your plan at all ...
NCLEX is tough but not if you do your best.

Just do your best and leave the rest [donot forget to PRAY - EXERCISE - and one day off/wk is good to start fresh again]

ALL THE VERY BEST ... BE SURE YOU WILL MAKE IT ... GOD BLESS ...
