NCLEX-RN: 265 questions and PASSED!

For those of you out there that have recently taken the NCLEX-RN and had to go the whole dreadful 265 questions-do not think you automatically failed! I took mine Friday morning at 8am..and just found out the results today Sunday at 8:52am and I PASSED!!!!! All of my friends were saying they stopped at 75 and under 100, so after I passed that number I was losing all hope and dignity..cried my eyes out all the way home and couldn't stop shaking! I would have bet my life on it that I failed..that's how sure I was..the test screws with your mind big time! I talked it over with a few people and they said if you have a lot of multiple-multiples it's a good sign because they are higher difficulty questions..so just because you had to take every question DO NOT automatically think you failed!

i took my nclex last last friday also jan 16. and i stopped at 265, i took 75 questions 2 hrs thinking i should get it right for the first 75 questions..but it didn't stop so i was worried, i think i will run out of time. so the rest of the exam i was battling the time, it took me 1 min per question..i was hurried, the funny thing is i'm the only 1 left at the testing center. i was shock, ....waiting for the result and it seems it's not showing up on the website.. i failed again! i used suzannes plan, i was getting 77 sometime 74,it help me a lot but when you're on the testing center, it seems the question is way different from saunders and it's much harder the way they put or constract the questions..i have a lot of priority, and triage.. no calculation and 3 sata's.. i'm thinking of taking kaplan online but whew! it's 400$..!! how come they are too expensive and ncsbn is only 30+, is that guaranted u wil pass :-)..

btw, how many hours you took the 265?, i took all 6 hrs..

Do not assume you have failed, wait for your results before you start spending money studying

but if the california already updated 5 times or more since the test and your name is not showing up, i have a feeling that i failed again, i was just depress coz my brother stop at 265 and he even guess from last 30 questions just pressing a, b , or c, coz he has 5 minutes left and he did pass... good for him, not for me :-),.. so i;m relaxing for the moment coz i know i have to study again.. :-(

Doesn't mean anything, are you sure your file is a complete file? There could be a few reasons to why your results aren't up, hang in there and wait before you decide to do anything

Congrats to you!! I took the NCLEX RN today - and I believe I cut off between 75 - 80questions - I did not even realize what number I was on - and I was so expecting more questions!! I do not think my chances of passing are good - most people I know that pass had atleast 100 questions - any opinions?
