Hi all! I am new to allnurses.com so you may not see a lot from me at first, as I am getting used to it and all...
I am an LPN student and will graduate in Septmeber (hence the name!) and I have a question regarding your experience with the NCLEX exam.
My school has used NCLEX-style questions throughout the entire program. They have been teaching us this test-taking method very thoroughly.
They are offering a free 3-day NCLEX review class after graduation and unfortunately I will be out of town! I am struggling with the decision of whether to cancel my plans and attend the review class.
I kind of feel like, what more can I learn about taking the exam? We have been coached on how to pick the answer even if you don't know it through the process of elimination. We are very familiar with critical thinking, and most of our tests are critical thinking.
For those of you who have taken the exam, maybe you can give me a little insight into this. I appreciate it!
-Stacey
