I was just on the NCLEX website...www.ncsbn.org...and
I looked up the pass rate statistics. I was kind of surprized that the Diploma candidates have a higher success rate than the Degree Candidates. For example in Oct-Dec 2004... Diploma 86.2% pass rate...Degree 79.7% pass rate. What do you guys believe is the difference? I am from Canada and the minimum education for an enty level RN is B.Sc. in alot of our provinces..this has caused many headaches for the healthcare system and these statistics are very interesting.
