I just took mine Tues,09/15/09.I had a similar problem,I just had about 75-85 question.I was expecting more,I was in a daze...I was confident enough to know some of the question. I was stump with few meds,but I didn't have any dosage calculation.I don't know if I pass or fail,I 'm suppose to have my result tomorrow.Man,,,I just dread the waiting.Just crossing my figure.

Search the threads and find the Pearson Vue Trick.

Make sure your results are in "delivered" status...you'll know by this afternoon if you passed or not.

The "trick" is very reliable.

hey nursekatie25, i know you did wonderful on your exam... I just recently passed mine on the first try on sept. 4,2009 and i was in there like what!!!!!!! The whole time, and i drove my boyfriend crazy afterwards. You have to keep busy in order to remain sane!! Lol after i completed my exam i went home and started to study again... For the same exam that i just took an hour and a half ago...lol but i passed and you did too. Katie's are special people and we are smart!!!! Have fun planning your wedding and congratulations!!!

Hello. I'm new to this site but have read all about the NCLEX nightmares everyone has had. I just took mine this Wednesday and the computer shut down at 80 question!! I too was stressed out because I didn't know whether my questions were hard or not. I couldn't tell! I did have a LOT of drug calculation questions, at least 6 to 8, and they were all similar-basically the Dopamine calculation(mcg/kg/min). Anyway, I found out at 6 this morning that I PASSED and I am so relieved. To all who are waiting to test or waiting for their results, I feel your pain!! Good luck to all!!

I took the Nclex today got 130 questions. Ya the test pretty much sucked it wasn't nursing based in any way. I mean if they want to see if you're a safe nurse they should ask nusing based questions.

Every question I got on my NCLEX was nursing related.

Every question.

Let me clarify it is nursing related but don't apply to general nursing. The questions are very tricky...

Sure they do.

Priority questions....you have to know how to assess a situation and make a decision...you do that in your job every day. You can't answer these questions if you don't know what to look for.

Teaching...do you know what to teach? Do you know what the most important aspects are? What would you make sure that the patient knew before they went home. Handing them a med sheet to read at home is not sufficient...legally, you are supposed to go over it with them.

Alternative Questions...can you answer questions that are not A,B,C,D?

Yes, they all apply to general nursing.
