I have taken the nclex 4 times now. I am to the point where I think it may be time to move on. I have tried everything..... private tutor, nclex books, online reviews....

What I want to know is how close am I to passing? All my subjects say "Near the passing standard" except for one and it says below passing standard.

I am in the same boat as you. I have taken this exam four times now and got 265 questions three times. I feel I am right on the brink of passing, but it is hard staying motivated. I am not giving up, though. I have even dabbled in other industries and I am always drawn back to nursing. I look at these non-passing moments as prep for actually nursing because nursing is full of disappointment and you have to really want it. You are frustrated right now (rightfully so), but don't loose site of the prize of having RN at the end of your name.

So stay strong, stay focused and stay blessed.

Don't loose hope but think about Suzanne's plan which can be found in the thread 2008 version of Suzanne's plan.
