    Airway is always priority, lft side. Call for assistance then assess for ROM. You have to get the baby out STAT.

    Airway isn't always the priority the priority in this question is getting someone there to help then turning her on her side she is seizing afterall

    Due to the fact that she is seizing you do not want to put anything in her mouth the first thing you would do is turn her to the side that the priority.

    actually CYoungLPN is correct. you call for help, then ensure open airway, and then turn to side. its in the saunders book.

    This is a good nclex question! I picked airway too but now that I read what others put I agree! Turn to the left side

    For me it's to turn the pt to the side first,

    Then maintain airway

    Safety first, always. Turn a seizing patient to their side, this helps with airway as well. Call for help, assess for ruptured membranes.

    At this point the baby needs to be delivered ASAP.
