Family pressure will not aid you in passing. Not sure where you are living but if outside the US then you will be affected by retrogression so no need to rush.

Hello,
for effervescent:I live outside of US and I got my Saunders from Amazon.com.
for Silverdragon:Please, since I live outside of US right now (following my husband's work, otherwise,we live in US)...what did you mean by getting affected by retrogression.I apologise for steping into this thread like this, but it seems like something that I maybe needed to know.I'm foreign trained nurse, graduated 15 years ago and I've been working on Suzannes first tip for a while now.I plan to take NCLEX sometime in December,in London.Any tips......or just prayers,please....Thanx

If you do not have a visa giving you permission to work in the US then you will be affected by retrogression and looking at several years wait for a work visa. That is what I mean by retrogression. If your husband is a USC then things could be different for you but a lot will depend on what status your husband is.

Suzanne's program is excellant and if following that then you do not need any other tips

It is a good thing you are able to express your fear.I have a friend who just passed the boards the second time.she is 53 years old.although she dosnt have kids but she is very determined.she doesnt discuss her NCLEX prep with family or friends.she studied until she knew everything in her finger tips, and said it was not a surprise she passed. So just be determined no one is destined to fail,i am going to study till i understand the exam no pressure then i will take it the second time.i know i will pass and you too.

Shame on your husband. It isn't your fault that you can't adjust your visa. What visa is he on, nothing stopping him getting his employers to support him
