I have posted this prayer before in a recent thread but I would like to post it here for everyone who is scared, nervous, upset or doubtful of their knowledge and strength on THE testing day. I pray for everyone. All of us have graduated nursing school, all of us are smart and all of us can and will pass this test. The power of prayer is a great thing. Take a few moments to reflect upon all you have accomplished, all your hard work and the goals you have set for yourself. You can do it and you will pass. Myself and many others are testing this week. Please pray for all and feel free to add a prayer to this list. We can do it, we are winners!

I thankfully turn to You, God, for guidance. I listen in the stillness to Your wisdom already in my heart, and I know what to do.

Dear God, Your love fills my heart and your light guides my steps. In all I do I acknowledge You and give thanks for Your wisdom, strength, and peace within.

In the awareness of Your constant presence within me, God, I listen for the direction that guides me and makes my way sure.

You, dear God, are the light that shines on my path. Your light gives me insight and understanding that help me make wise decisions.

God, You are my source of wisdom. Your spirit guides me, Your love enfolds me, and Your light inspires me. Please be with all of us on our testing day. Guide us with your strength, courage and glory. Let us enter those doors to the testing center with all of our burdens handed to you. We ask that you take away all our fears and anxieties. Help to guide us with the knowledge that you have given to us. In you all things are possible. Thank you Lord for all that we have and all we have accomplished. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

That was a beautiful prayer. I really appreciate that you thought about everyone who will be taking the NCLEX. I was very afraid to set up my test date because I have failed before and I had that fear in me. Then I prayed about it and read my daily bread that stated The Fight Against Fear. Psalms 23:4 states "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me." If you believe that Jesus lives, you don't need to fear (NCLEX). Isaiah 41:10 states " Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strenghthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."
These were some of the things I had to instill in my head because I was very fearful about going into the NCLEX again. I know that God has not bought me this far to leave me.

Thanks for the prayer because I will be going for a 2nd attempt in November and have many doubts. I will continue to ask God for guidance and not worry.

Hi Cash - you have hit it right on the nose. I'm going to try reading these scriptures as well. I'm so scared to take the test again. I have taking it once in April and failed. I just can't get myself to take it again. I feel like I don't know enough. I do have to take it before November 13th but I have been pushing it back every chance I get. I have done Kaplan and read the Saunders book and now I'm trying to complete the Saunder's CDs for the second time. Please keep me in your prayers and I will do the same for you.

Splendid! Thanks for that prayer...I will be taking my exam too on the 25th. I am not really sure of my confidence but I have this positive thought...I know God will help me us as long as we did our part..

Thanks so much for posting a beautiful prayer...I am asking everyone to please pray for me on October 26,2007 9am...I will be taking the exam and this early im really nervous...please include me in your prayers...I truly believe that God loves us all and prayers do make miracles....Praise the Lord Jesus.
