So, i took my NCLEX-PN at 8 am this morning. It shut off at 85. It took me a little over an hour. I only had 1 calculation (I&O), 5 SATA and lots of what pt would you assess 1st, 4-5 on precautions, and 2 about Orthodox jews!!! I did the PVT around noon and got the pop-up! Yay! I am not going to get really excited until i know for sure, but it did help me relax...a little!

Congratulations!!! I take mine on wednesday and I am absolutely very nervous!!! Was it really hard like people say it is?

Took mine this morning too. I took the whole 5 hours of testing and it stopped at 205 in the last i second. I haven't check the PVT trick yet. i am so scared that i failed it again..this is my 3rd time. I am really getting tired of failing... I have mostly priotization, infection control, 2 math which ic I&O, and some SATA's no calculation of drugs.. I have some drugs too.. I am so nervous right now and i don't want to check the trick cause i dont want to disappoint myself..What is the odd of failing at 205?..Oh my...

This was my second time taking it. Last time i had all 205 and it seemed waaay harder. This time it wasn't as bad. There were a few that i totally guessed on. 2 of my former classmates passed with 205 questions, so you never know!

I know it very stressful believe me I just went through it. I had 95 questions the 1st and yes I failed. I wasn't aware of the pvt at that time. I took it last week and 190 questions, my exam was similar to yours. Iwas freaking out, thought I failed. I tried the pvt and it didn't give me the cc page, so I was excited but still nervous. I took my PN exam today and mine too shut off at 85. I felt pretty good about it, actually was eerily peaceful while leaving the testing center. I got a few med ?s that i had no clue what the med was, a couple calc, lots of infection control & priority, and quite a few SATA. I was surprised by the test material - I thought it would be waaay harder. Not that it was easy by any means tho! I think that this website got me a little over-anxious about the test. Kaplan ?s are a lot harder i think!!! I GOT THE POP-UP TOO... god i hope this means good! but i also worry cuz i didnt think it was too hard that the test determined i was dumb and gave me easy questions!! lol we will see wednesday mornin... Well, I FAILED again ...Thank you Board of Nursing!! for making the Exam so hard to pass. I chexk the PVT trick and went all the way to cc page. This is my 3rd time and i stopped at 205. I GIVE UP..This career is not for me...I hate this exam anyways! I will never pass this exam..after all this wasted energy studying this stupid books...What do they do want me to do memorized the whole freaking Saunders just to pass... Board of nursing..

Don't give up !!!!! You wouldn't have endured nursing school if nursing wasn't for you!!!maybe you should take a remedial course, maybe you need the reinforcement of an instructor. I know I do. I am reentering the field as a LPN after 25+ years and took an online refresher class but i was fortunate to be able to attend classroom classes as well, and that helped me tremendously. Most of the people in my class were people that had failed or not taken either pn or rn nclex. So keep forging foward we need you in the field!!!!

Another 3 months of studying went to waste. Another 200 dollars went to waste. I dont have a job right now thats make it more painful for me since i depend on my saving , but its running out. I dont't know if Board of Nursing are aware of what impact they have in someone life by making this stupid exam hard to pass. I f only they made it a little easier. I am not stupid ..i know my content it just this freaking exam i dont know how they do it and how they make it. I hate it. Now i am sitting here doing nothing instead of working and contributing in the health field. I hope Board of Nursing are HAPPY making this exam so hard. All i want is to get my life in a better position but NOW i can't work and I can't do anything. I don't want to go to study those stupid expensive books again with really nothing and didn't help at all. I will endure this and remember this PAIN tru my entire life. I CURSED Board of Nursing for this..I hope they get there KARMA..
