NCLEX PN Nerves, Bad Result from Pearson Vue Trick :(

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Today was the big day to take my boards. I'm usually a great tester because I was taught how to pick apart the questions, but that was absolutely no help on the NCLEX. I had a lot of meds I did not know about and a lot of teaching. I had to take all 205 questions and did the Pearson Vue "trick" which sends me to the credit card page. Now I've completely lost all hope that I've passed and am heartbroken. Its such a disappointment to fail (of course). I've been reading posting after post about the trick always working so I guess the next step is to get better study material :crying2: Is there a waiting period before you can retest? What are good study materials?

Then all you can do is wait, results can take anything from 3 days to 6 weeks according to the BRN website

Thank you

Just called brn and inquired if i have a problem with my file. My file is complete...still getting the good pop up everytime i'll try thme pvt but my name is still not in the license verification list. To those who already received their official results...how long does it usually takes to receive the letter from brn telling if you pass or fail the nclex? Thanks!

I took the exam last month in San Dimas. It was Dec. 28, 2012 8:00 a.m in the morning. I thought i did really well in the nclex-pn board because my computer shut off in 85 questions with lots of SATA questions. When i got home, i tried to read some articles in allnurses.com those people who passed the nclex-pn with min. of 85 questions in their examinations. Well, its sad to say that its my 4th time that i took the test but unfortunately i didn't get the rhythm of the nclex-pn board examination test questions. I tried the PVT trick last Jan. 01, 2012 but it let me go to the cc page. I know that I didn't pass the exam again because as what other people said with their experienced of doing the PVT trick its really 100% accurate. Well, base on my experienced of doing the PVT trick its definitely accurate. I received the official result today that it says that i didn't pass the nclex-pn board examination. I need some advice from those people who already passed the board. What review online would you guys suggest & what review books do I need to use in order to pass the nclex-pn. I used saunder 3rd editions orange cover, lippincott, nclex cram 2nd edition.

Just so you know (those who is checking the PVT) the trick works only if your file is complete with BRN. IF you have something missing, in my case my transcript, Pearson Vue will not let you re-register until all paper work are turned in to BRN. It breaks my heart today to find out that not only i have to pay 200 for the test, I also have to pay another 150 to BRN....I don't know where to get the money for the next exam, and I don't know how to stand up again and start studying for it neither. If someone has any study advise....please let me know, i really need help.

What do you mean the trick only works if your file is complete? I know my file isn't complete because my school hasn't sent our transcripts yet and I've already taken the NCLEX RN. So why do you think re-registering only works if your file is complete. I find it hard to believe the BRN would have to send an electronic file back to Pearson once my file is completed to let them know to change the pop up. If what you're saying is true then everyone that takes NCLEX early (before their school sends transcripts) would essentially get the initial good pop up and then sometime later (days, weeks) when their file is finally completed their pop up could change to the credit card page? I haven't heard of this happening to anyone I guess I'll have to check it out. BTW, what state are you in because CA lets you test before your school sends out transcripts so in other words my file was incomplete the first time I registered to test with my ATT.

Sorry to here that and yes it makes you feel like there is not hope I know b/c I went through the samething but we can't give up one thing that help is being repetative especially with the meds

I just took my nclex-rn last saturday. I got all 265 questions. I felt so terrible..went home and tried the PVT. and it directed me to the CC page. I am so sad. I feel like a failure. Do you guys have any study guides I can use? Thank you in advance.
